Clearly shows in the modern age of mobility we need a full rewrite of all asylum law and treaties. I would back the right to resettlement in safe developing countries, with the West providing significant help to build those economies in return for proper control of our borders.

SO thrilled that the Pet Abduction Bill had PASSED before this Parliament ended. I have spoken so many times in support of this - congratulations to the brilliant @Anna_Firth for getting it over the line! Great news for dog, cat and ferret lovers 💙🐾🐾🐾💙

Thanks to constituents who have written to me about price hikes, and to journalists and supporters' groups for amplifying fans' voices

I'll be passing on fans' concerns to the club, and while I've been on the season ticket wait list for around 8 years, I won't be taking one up for next season if this price increase is why it's available. We are a family club and always have been.

So wonderful to attend @APDAWG1 celebration of assistance dogs today in Parliament- I met many owners including Dave, who has a guide dog, and Jordan, who is a Veteran with ptsd. His gorgeous rescue dog has rescued him back! 💙🐾

Delighted that the ban on live exports has received Royal assent 🎉🎉🎉
This wasn't possible while we were within the EU. Thanks to Wolverhampton NE constituents who write to me about animal welfare issues. I'll continue to champion animals in Parliament 🐺🧡🖤
