In Christian Aid Week I was pleased to support @christianaid in Parliament. Huge thanks to the churches and individuals across the UK that support this charity that does so much to help the Developing World.

This #DementiaActionWeek it was good to meet in Parliament with @alzheimerssoc and their Ambassador Sir Jonathan Pryce.
Raising awareness of the importance of an early and accurate diagnosis for people living with Dementia.

Antimicrobial resistance is a global emergency posing a vast threat to our health, development and security. Global deaths from AMR are nearly 5 million a year.

Tragically communities across the UK have witnessed a spate of knife crime over recent years and so I was pleased to meet with Northamptonshire-based Community Group @NNOffTheStreets who are working hard on this issue to provide trauma kits and knife amnesty bins.

Earlier this week EFRA Committee member and veterinary surgeon @DrNeilHudson MP spoke to @MattChorley on Times Radio about the UK’s vet shortage and the challenges facing the veterinary sector.
