Gutted to have been sanctioned by Putinโ€™s vile regime in Russia ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ Apparently Iโ€™m not allowed to go on holiday to Russia this summer. Not sure that this will damage Ukraineโ€™s valiant resistance as much as Putin imagines.

The government must do everything it can to deal with the cost of living challenges faced by people in the UK.

Thatโ€™s what the Prime Minister told MPs tonight and he was completely right.

Together we will get on with the job and focus on the peopleโ€™s priorities.

It was a pleasure to be at the official opening of @WHEFC new church building last weekend ahead of the start of Holy Week.

This new build has been a long time in the making, and the end result is a true testament to the passion of all involved.

Each post is democratically elected by the other children - helping them to understand the democratic process from a young age.

Another fantastic primary school visit - this time to Woodside.

Thank you to all the children on the school council for such interesting and important questions about all sorts of topics.

I had the pleasure of meeting the full school council at the Glynne Primary School, followed by a tour of the school led by council representatives Francesca, Freya and Will. All three are such fantastic role models for their classmates!

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day, where we remember the millions of people murdered in the Holocaust and other genocides.

It was a privilege to sign the @HolocaustUK Book of Commitment, and pay tribute to the extraordinary survivors who work tirelessly to educate people today.

Very sad news that Erdington MP Jack Dromey has died. We disagreed on much but Jack was a model of decency with allies and opponents alike. He cared deeply about Birmingham and the wider West Mids. Thoughts and prayers with @HarrietHarman and their family at this difficult time.

This is the right decision, and desperately needed by many firms in the hospitality and leisure industries who have seen trade collapse.
This package delivers the support they need, but a return to furlough would only have made the problems worse.

.@sajidjavid says that there must always be an option for a lateral flow test โ€œand I would not support a vaccines only optionโ€.
