I would like to wish all teams good luck this weekend in the #FADisabilityCup. Events like these are vital for disabled people’s physical and mental health and now in their sixth year I’m delighted to see the work of the @FA going from strength to strength

Congratulations to @HistoricEngland and @NorwichChurches for saving the Grade I listed Church of St Michael Coslany, Norwich. This beautiful medieval church is an important local community space and home to the brilliant Oak Circus Centre.

In Belfast I also had the pleasure of catching up with @CommunitiesNI Minister @DeirdreHargey and the honour to speak at #HarkinBelfast . In my speech I called on all businesses to employ more disabled people to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce

Fantastic to be in Belfast today and visit the @NOW_Group and Alexander Mann Solutions to see first-hand the incredible work they are doing to support disabled people into work and in their daily lives. Special mention to the delicious lunch from @lovelyloaf

I’ll be voting to back Boris Johnson today, as I did 3 years ago. Constituents in Norwich North voted for him in 2019 and it’s right to unite, serve and deliver on their trust. 1/2

Thank you @macmillancancer for hosting me at your helpline office in Shipley. The service you provide to people in the most challenging of times is amazing and it was great to chat with your advisors about the importance of welfare support

It was great to accompany @SOMNews and see how the occupational health teams at @GSTTnhs and @TfL are prioritising the wellbeing of their staff. Positive physical and mental health is good for business as healthier workplaces produce stronger financial results

Thanks to the support of employers across the country, we’ve reached our target five years early: over 1.3 million more disabled people are now in work than in 2017

More people nearing the end of their life will have fast-track access to financial support through the benefits system, thanks to rules that came into force last month


Productive conversation with @MarkAtRNID discussing Access to Work, disability employment and the new #BSLAct . It was such a positive experience working with @RNID on this landmark piece of legislation and I'm looking forward to doing more work together

Great meeting of the Norwich for Jobs Strategic Board working collaboratively to ensure that young people in Norwich have the opportunities for training and employment

JUST ANNOUNCED: The UK has signed a ground-breaking new migration partnership with Rwanda to deter dangerous and illegal journeys to the UK.

The New Plan for Immigration promised bold action.
Today we’re delivering a key part of that.
