I am delighted by the extra money and new recruits for the local police force.

Cedars Nature Centre, is the UK’s smallest zoo, housing all sorts of animals from meerkats, tarantulas and snakes through to exotic hedgehogs - and it needs your support to thrive.

Last week, I visited #Viewpoint, a charity which advocates and supports people with #MentalHealth challenges and gives them a voice.

Yesterday, I attended CPR and defibrillator training at the Waltham Cross Shopping Centre. I would like to thank Heather Daley, Specsavers and the British Heart Foundation for fundraising to get a Public Access Defibrillator in Waltham Cross.

Yesterday I opened the @Hailey_Turnford Futures Week, where I talked about the importance of our democratic system. It was great to take questions from our future electorate. #schools #Voting

On Tuesday I led a delegation of #Broxbourne Secondary School Headteachers to meet Minister of State, @NickGibbUK to discuss #Schools funding.
This is the second time I have met with the Minister to discuss the issue of schools funding in the lead up to the #SpendingReview

Yesterday, I met Ella Joseph, Co-Chief Executive of @ThinkAheadMH, a charity which works towards a society where everyone with #MentalHealth problems can flourish.

This morning I launched the @GoffsChurchgate Academy’s 4th Annual Wellbeing Day. This initiative gives students a wealth of knowledge of how to keep healthy, mentally and physically.

Last Friday, I was able to visit the @IsabelHospice, to see some of the incredible work that they are doing. It was a great opportunity to speak to the staff and patients.

Yesterday, I hosted the launch of a report written by Lord Shinkwin and George Relph on 'enabling talented, young, disabled graduates to realise their potential and reach the top.' Thank you to everyone that attended! @Demos
