What a night.
I feel humbled, honoured & delighted to be asked to go into the House of Lords.
Having immigrated here as a young girl, neither I nor my parents would have ever dreamt that I would become a Peer of the Realm.
I am looking forward to continuing my commitment to public service.
Labour needs the biggest swing in history to have a majority of one.
The outcome is not certain. We have just one chance to make a change.
Go out and vote.
From breaking the rules in Partygate to the illegal bets;
From killing Sure Start to the proliferation of foodbanks;
From destroying the economy to running the NHS into the ground;
