I've been raising concerns about how the Home Office treats LGBTQ+ people for months and now we hear this terrible news. @pritipatel you CAN stop this now. A mans life is in real danger. They have been publicly outed. @VotePursglove

The climate emergency is the gravest threat we face and this report is proof of the Conservatives' failure to act.

The British people are paying the price of this failure today in higher bills, and future generations will pay the price tomorrow too.

👏Today we toast @Mothersmatter20 - the #CORE #UKCRF Green Grant creating 2 jobs + going greener (from bamboo mugs to bulbs), to provide perinatal support for women - helping 68 more families since receiving the grant via @PurpleShoots @VikkiHowells @BethWinterMP @AndrewMorganRCT

“What are seen as radical solutions are often common sense ones – but common sense is not always that common in British politics.”

A @socialistcam policy seminar on Welsh Labour's radical agenda - popular, progressive and inspiring ✊🌹

Instead of trying to resolve the rail dispute the Tories are using it as another excuse to attack trade unions my piece for @LabourList

"It is absolutely disgraceful that the Westminster government should have announced its intention to do this without a single word to the Welsh government, without a single word to the Welsh Parliament

"Of course we will resist it."

The cost-of-living crisis is being driven by companies increasing profits whilst employees pay is held down.

I support unions taking action to increase pay and it's great to see @CWUnews members at Aberdare Delivery Office standing up.

#Aberdare #CostOfLivingCrisis

Aberdare Delivery Office is ready and will be voting YES in the ballot!! Postal workers deserve better pay!! #HomeToVote @Jason_m_2009

Later today we will be launching our radical basic income pilot.

Simply put – this scheme gives care leavers a guaranteed monthly income to help set them on a path to live healthy, happy and fulfilling lives.

We'll explain in more detail in today’s press conference.

Welsh Government will today be launching its radical basic income pilot.

In this cost-of-living crisis, it is only @WelshLabour in Government that is looking at new mechanisms to better support people getting on.

A disgraceful but unsurprising move from the UK Tory Gov.

2 years after they stood in the street to clap them the UK Gov are seeking to use agency workers to undermine pay and conditions of public sector workers. Is this what they meant by levelling up?!

This is an attack on democracy, an attack on working people, an attack on our Trade Unions and an affront to devolution.

It is totally unacceptable and I will be joining colleagues in Wales to do everything in my power to stop this.

"Labour must support those fighting to defend their living standards when, in effect, they face pay cuts nearing 10% – if it doesn’t, you wonder what the purpose of the party is. We must support unions."

- a strong article by Jon Cruddas MP in LabourList

Travel companies hope strike action affecting passengers will rebound on unions.

But passengers face a cost-of-living crisis and know transport staff do too.

So solidarity with @unitetheunion and @GMB_union at BA, as with @RMTunion.

The solution remains: pay your staff.

✊ 'Junior barristers in their first three years of practice earned a median income of just £12,200, which is below the minimum wage.'

Solidarity with barristers going on strike this week.

Conservative MP Scott Benton celebrates the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade. In 22 states, that means near-immediate abortion bans.

There are men in our Parliament who’d take women’s rights back to the Victorian era if they could.

On Wednesday, the Daily Mail printed a photo of me on this nasty anti-worker front page.

They’ve now agreed to pay just short of £1,000 for using the photo.

I’ll be sending that money from the Mail straight to the @RMTunion strike-fund.

Victory to the rail workers ✊🏽

The decision to overturn #RoeVsWade is an important reminder that we can never just take our rights for granted.

With our Government determined to roll back human rights in every area of society, we must stay vigilant here too and keep organising #AbortionIsHealthcare

The overturning of Roe v Wade is a devastating step backwards for women's rights.

Every woman should have the right to a safe and legal abortion.

Solidarity with every woman affected by this cruel decision.

100% solidarity with @RMTunion and @CardiffRailRMT
Come and support the rail workers in Cardiff today

The #Wakefieldbyelection and #TivertonandHonitonByElection results today show that the country has had a guts full of the Tories. Johnson is on borrowed time, and he knows it. We need a Labour Government #ToriesOut

Very proud club today @becky_lewis07 has been selected to represent wales in the para commonwealth games! Huge achievement 🎉 congratulations! We are all very proud of you ❤️ @RCTSport @SwimWales

Solidarity to my friend @ApsanaBegum, one of the most hard working, principled and inspirational MPs in Parliament.
Immediate action must be taken to address this appalling abuse.

A statement:

This White Paper I published 2 years ago is still @UKLabour's blueprint for bringing our railways back into public ownership.

If this plan was implemented, the railway would work for passengers, staff & taxpayers, rather than profit.

We Own It @We_OwnIt

🚆 Mick Lynch is absolutely right. Rail privatisation has been a disaster for everybody except the shareholders whose pockets it has lined.

It's time to bring the WHOLE railway into public hands!

The Covid pandemic has caused a widening of inequality and left many people struggling to cope. The Samaritans have launched a new resource for anyone who has noticed a dip in their wellbeing, is feeling lonely or isolated, or even suicidal.

Ministers planning to boost City bosses pay whilst workers struggle to cope with the worst cost of living crisis in history.

@BorisJohnson had no answer to my Q instead attacking me for standing up for workers.

Tories are on side of bankers not people who are suffering. #PMQs
