Yesterday at @CommonsTreasury, I asked Michael Moore, Director General at the @BVCA, what the most effective ways to unlock the pool of capital to turbocharge these businesses are.

Social outcomes contracts are an efficient way to deliver the public goods and services communities like ours in Hertford and Stortford need.

That's why I pressed the Prime Minister at #PMQs today on what the Government's doing to support this...

Over the border: Stortford MP makes case for Jess’s Law

Earlier today, I led a debate on cancer care for young adults.

The debate focussed on the case of Jessica Brady who tragically passed away in 2020 after a battle with cancer.

Jessica's parents were in attendance today and are asking for Jess's Law.

Yesterday, I signed a pledge in @UKParliament to raise awareness in Hertford and Stortford so that we can avoid more tragic deaths and injuries from button battery and coin cell ingestion by children

At 4pm today, I will be leading a debate at Parliament on cancer care for young adults.

This would greatly help our brilliant businesses in Hertford and Stortford.

Pleased to make the campaign for it in Parliament.

Today’s #PMQs featured a thank you from ⁦@JulieMarsonMP⁩ for the support that Herts & Stortford constituency has given, and continues to give, to those fleeing the war in Ukraine. That’s a thank you to all of you for your WONDERFUL donations & kindness #westandwithUkraine

Thank you to every constituent who has offered to host Ukrainian refugees - I continue to support many of their visa applications.

That's why I asked the Prime Minister at #PMQs today what the UK is doing to support European security, in the face of continued Russian aggression.

Hertford and Stortford's position within the Innovation Corridor is incredibly important for our community.

Today I asked the Economic Secretary, @JohnGlenUK, what the Government is doing to support this...

It was a pleasure to join Mayor of Sawbridgeworth, Cllr Greg Rattey, and fellow guests from @HISCEastHerts at Sawbo Memorial Hall on Friday.

I paid tribute to the town, its community ethos and to Greg for all his hard work and dedication in serving our local community.

I've been working hard to support visa applications for Ukrainian refugees, across Hertford and Stortford.

A very happy 96th birthday to Her Majesty the Queen!

To still work so tirelessly and devotedly at 96 is remarkable, and a testament to her sense of duty and service.

I hope Her Majesty is permitted a quieter day today. And cake, of course.

My latest article for the Herts Merc is out for local people to read now... @InYourArea_UK
