Great to have @trussliz in South Devon today and to join with my neighbour @AnneMarieMorris and many local members to hear her message to them and our nation. She will deliver on her pledges and unite the party behind her to do so. #LizForLeader

During the second week of summer recess, we will be sharing a selection of images, illustrating some of the changes to the House of Commons over the years.

Our first image highlights the Commons Chamber in 1905 blended with a picture of the Commons today.

The Conservatives have always stood up for British values at home and abroad. I’m backing @trussliz.

Many congratulations to Tom Klinkenberg and everyone involved in today’s official opening of the Post Office in Powderham Farm Shop! I was delighted to be able assist Tom and his team in maintaining this vital service for all of the local community.

Although it wasn’t to be today, I am immensely proud of the positive vision we put forward for our country.

Thank you to all those who supported me and believed in #ACleanStart. This is only the beginning!

Strongly support @TomTugendhat vision for energy resilience that considers the implications for people today. I truly believe he is the candidate with the policies to turn things around #ACleanStart #TimeForTugendhat #C4LeadersDebate

This is a fantastic result.

I’m delighted to be going through to the next round with the momentum we need to change this country for the better.

Our country needs #ACleanStart

It was a pleasure to meet with Lord Callanan, alongside @simonjamesjupp, to discuss the issues faced by rural and off-grid homes when it comes to decarbonising our energy supply. A 'rural-first' approach is not a fair or effective way to decarbonise our housing stock.

Having seen what the leadership candidates have had to say and wanting a candidate who who will deliver fundamentally conservative principles and inspire trust and confidence - I believe @TomTugendhat is the best candidate to take this country forwards.

We were thrilled to welcome @AnneMarieMorris to open our new library today. Our vision at All Saints Marsh is to ‘build lifelong foundations together’. Reading is the foundation of everything that we do to enable children to flourish across the curriculum @LAPacademies .

Fantastic to be able to welcome primary pupils from Teignmouth Community School to Parliament this afternoon for a q&a, as part of their trip to London. Certainly picked an interesting day!

#Devon MPs have met throughout the pandemic and this afternoon met with @BorisJohnson to highlight key projects we are working on across the whole county @simonjamesjupp @Geoffrey_Cox @garystreeterSWD @AnneMarieMorris

🙌 A huge thank you to everyone who visited us at Westminster to hear how we plan to cut serious collisions to zero 👍

This #CarersWeek2022 is the perfect time to send our thanks to carers across the country who are a vital and often forgotten element of health and care in the constituency. We must do more to support them in their selfless task which has been made more difficult during Covid-19

“I have been humbled and deeply touched that so many people have taken to the streets to celebrate my Platinum Jubilee.”

As the #PlatinumJubilee weekend draws to a close, Her Majesty has sent a thank you message to all those who have marked her 70 years as Queen.

The Queen’s #PlatinumJubilee Celebration Weekend got off in fantastic style with Trooping the Colour.

The Prince of Wales took the Salute, with The Duke of Cambridge and The Princess Royal also riding in this display of military precision, horsemanship and fanfare.

My team were excited to meet Belle, Pancake & tiny Jack with @Battersea_ in Parliament today. They brought an important message about the lack of pet friendly rented accommodation, this can put owners in a terrible position of having to give up their pet for rehoming 1/2

Yesterday I spoke to @EthicalMedicine about the APPG on Access to Medicines and Medical Devices' ongoing work. The common conception is that once a medicine is approved by NICE it is available to anyone who needs it, but this is not always the case- we are working to change this.

It was a pleasure to speak in my capacity as Chair of the APPG on Access to Medicines and Medical Devices at the #AbbvieBridgingTheGap event this afternoon to launch their report into medicines regulation in the UK 1/2

I am sorry not to be able to attend the Westminster Hall Debate on affordable housing in Devon and Cornwall, but @SelaineSaxby and my other Devon colleagues are representing the issue brilliantly. We MUST see more affordable housing here in Devon.

Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

Today as The Queen turns 96, we’re sharing this photograph of the young Princess Elizabeth aged 2.

Then, in 1928, it was never expected she would be Queen, and this year Her Majesty is celebrating her #PlatinumJubilee - a first in British history.

Though I couldn't make it, a member of my team was delighted to attend a parliamentary reception with @guidedogs where she met dogs in training Kelsey and Jacob, and also buddy dog Vespa along with their fabulous owners and handlers. 1/2

Congrats to @powderhamcastle who’ve just opened their sparkling new visitor centre, with @AnneMarieMorris and Jack doing the honours on the ribbon, their first new building on the estate in 100 years! 🥂
