After a busy morning across the Constituency, it was only fitting to enjoy a lovely cup of tea at Pigeons Parlour.

This week, they proudly celebrated their 7th birthday, which is quite an achievement. Here’s to many more birthdays, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

Cllr Perry and I have written to Mayor Parker with regards to his raid on the budget for our new train station in Aldridge.

We are demanding that he comes clean with the residents and return the money to fund our new station.

Securing the release of hostages in Gaza, getting more aid in to alleviate the humanitarian crisis faced, and establishing a sustainable peace must be a priority for the Government. It's good to see some of our local Post Boxes turn orange to highlight the @UN_Women #OrangeTheWorld campaign to end gender-based violence against women and girls.

The colour orange is chosen to represent a bright future - one that is free from violence against women and girls.

We must work towards a better future for Syria, while remaining alert and prepared for the risks and threats that could now emerge following the collapse of the Assad regime.

The latest ban by the Taliban preventing women in Afghanistan from training to become nurses and midwives is truly shocking. It means women will ultimately be denied access to healthcare, and is simply wrong.

Mayor Parker needs to answer one simple question. If Aldridge Station wasn’t a fully funded project, why did he apply to the former Transport Secretary (Louise Haigh) to raid £27 million from the project budget and obtain her approval to do so in September?

We are forcing Labour to vote on their Family Farms Tax.

This cruel policy will decimate British farming. Labour MPs need to do the right thing and back our farmers.
