Today I met with Rachel from Team Sam’s Superheroes.

Rachel started Sam’s Superheroes after her son Sam sadly died due to a rare condition causing inflammation to the the brain.

I also dropped into the Job Centre on Sir Frank Whittle Road this morning. It was great to meet the team who are working so hard to help support people into work.

This morning I had the pleasure of attending the @akaalprimary Year 6 leavers assembly. Very proud moment for all the parents in attendance as their children take the big step up to secondary school!

This morning I met Caroline and Ady at Derby’s Delivery Office.

I went for a quick ride in one of their electric vehicles as they continue to invest in electric fleet in order to reduce the impact they have on the environment which is really important.
