🌳👩‍🌾 It's been a challenging time but earlier this week, Wales in Bloom judging took place in Prestatyn.

Thank you as always to everyone who contributed - a true team effort!

Results are due in September.

Bowled over by the supportive messages received since this morning's very disappointing result.

Thank you to all who voted for me and congratulations to Becky.

👎 The new Denbighshire kerbside recycling system is an expensive backward step and its rollout has been incompetent.

Labour is letting people down, both within the local council and the Welsh Government.

I'll always stand up for local priorities.

👣 The last week has seen campaigning across Clwyd East, in Gwespyr, Greenfield, New Brighton, Bryn y Baal, Llandegla, Leeswood, Gwernaffield, Nercwys, Mold, Gwernymynydd, Holywell and Prestatyn.

As we enter election week, I am really grateful for all the help and support.

During this election campaign I've attended four hustings:

️🔹️ Ruthin Civic Association and Friends of the Earth
🔹️ NFU and FUW
🔹️ Mold Plastic Reduction
🔹️ Together Creating Communities

Thank you to the organisers.

🔹️Experience and honesty
🔹️Good track record
🔹️Committed to holding Welsh Labour to account
🔹️Insisting on the need for UK-level intervention re Betsi Cadwaladr failures
🔹️Ready to hit the ground running

👷‍♂️ It was good to take a look into the Llandyrnog Community Shop and Post Office this week and see the ongoing building work.

🤗 Currently, the opening date is expected at the beginning of September.

Proud to have supported such a valuable community hub.

Thank you Trelawnyd, Gwaenysgor, Trelogan, Berthengam, Gronant, Talacre, Llanasa, Ffynnongroyw, Pen y Ffordd, Rhewl Mostyn, Llanfair DC, Llanelidan, Llanbedr DC, Llandyrnog, Nannerch, Lixwm and Sychdyn! #VoteJamesDavies #ClwydEast

🍇 A perfect day today to visit Gwen and Rhys at @valevineyard in Llandyrnog and see their five acres of vines.

🥂🍷 Last season they harvested 10 tonnes of grapes from 8,000 vines and this week they received two silver medals at the Wine GB Awards.

👏🏻 A great local business.

I’ve had the pleasure of representing areas of Denbighshire during the last 20 years and now I am hoping to be elected MP for Clwyd East. This also includes parts of Flintshire: the towns of Mold, Holywell and Caerwys and surrounding villages.

If I've not yet spoken to you 👇🏻

Many hundreds more spoken with in Carmel, Ruthin, Rhewl, Gellifor, Llanarmon-yn-Iâl, Mold, Mynydd Isa and Northop Hall.

Thank you everyone!

🗳 Vote Conservative on 4th July for common sense on 20mph.

"We will expand our Backing Drivers Bill to cover Wales, reversing Labour’s blanket 20mph speed limit by requiring local consent for 20mph zones and giving local communities the legal right to challenge existing zones."
