One of the darkest days for women’s rights in my lifetime. Obviously the immediate consequences will be suffered by women in the US - but this will embolden anti-abortion & anti-women forces in other countries too. Solidarity doesn’t feel enough right now - but it is necessary. https://twitter.com/SkyNews/status/1540337190848323588

The Tories haven’t won an election in Scotland since 1955 yet continue to try and dictate the terms of our democracy.

That’s the scandal.

Many independent European nations are more successful than the UK.

So why not Scotland?

£11,000,000,000. Lost.

And by the same Chancellor who took £20 a week away from folk on Universal Credit.

A few reasons why Scotland can no longer afford to remain under UK Tory rule:

1️⃣ Under Tory mismanagement, the OECD has warned that the UK will have the worst economic growth of any G20 country bar Russia.

SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford says for weeks he has been met with a "wall of noise" from Tory MPs when asking for Boris Johnson to step down as PM but 'all this time 41% have been cheering me on'

15,000 people in Scotland were sanctioned by the Secretary of State last year for 'rule breaking'.

On that basis, surely she'll sanction Boris tonight too?

I have supported Boris Johnson for 15 years, for the London Mayoralty and for PM. Very sadly, I have written to him to say I can no longer do so, for the reasons set out below.

In 2021/22 over two million people in the United Kingdom used a foodbank.

This afternoon I made a donation to @inchgarthcc in support of their efforts to feed those in need.

Let’s not forget what really matters.

Wish the folk who are outraged about £20m for a referendum were as vocal about the Scottish Government having to spend close to £600m a year just to mitigate decisions taken at Westminster.
