Very pleased to support @AntiBullyingPro and the @DianaAward in their campaign to encourage young people to #SpeakOutAboutBullying.
Thousands of young people experience bullying every day and nobody should have to face it alone.

Very proud to be an Ambassador for @BreastCancerNow and attend their drop-in in Parliament earlier today.
Recent years have seen a shortfall in breast cancer screening. When it comes to diagnosing and treating breast cancer, there is #notimetowaste
Congratulations to H M The Queen on becoming the world's second longest ruling monarch ever.
Long may she continue to reign.
Queen Elizabeth II is set to become the world’s second longest ruling monarch. On June 12, she will surpass Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej, whose reign lasted 70 years and 126 days
A divided Conservative Party risks losing the next general election. With @BorisJohnson having won the ballot yesterday, we now need to unite and address pressing domestic and international issues rather than talk about ourselves.
I will be backing @BorisJohnson tonight. He has made the right call on many issues - Brexit, vaccine rollout, over £400 billion support during the pandemic and support for Ukraine.
We need to focus on tackling the rising cost of living and delivering for the people of the UK.
RAF flypast over The Mall and Buckingham Palace.
Lovely to be at Trooping the Colour, Her Majesty The Queen's Birthday Parade.
Good to attend @Eastern_PH's reception today at the @pborokeytheatre and meet various companies working to create opportunities and bring more investment to the East of England.
We met with @ShaileshVara MP today to showcase the work we are doing to develop the great facilities at #ARUPeterborough. We discussed the positive impact the university will have on the region. Positive ideas on how we can work with the local community to improve social mobility
Many thanks to @ShaileshVara MP for visiting our office in Peterborough today to discuss #KidneyDisease, #HealthInequalities and how we can work together to raise the profile of the condition.
Very pleased to visit and support Allia Future Business Centre in Peterborough.
Great to see them supporting local entrepreneurs and businesses to help them prosper and create more jobs for our region.
Very pleased to open the new Peterborough office for Home Instead @__Peterborough.
Great to meet Philip and Amy Kennedy again and see their care agency going from strength to strength over the past 10 years.
Very pleased to welcome Coronavirus Community Champions from my constituency to receive awards in Parliament. Huge thanks to @SouthfieldsInfo, Elton Village Stores and Post Office Stores in Abbots Ripton for selflessly helping their communities throughout the pandemic.
Congratulations to all who put in so much hard work to organise another successful Yaxley Festival.
Great fun for the whole family and money raised for charities too.
Plans by @BarclaysCorp to close another of its branches in #Peterborough have been criticised by a city MP @ShaileshVara
Very sad news.
BBC News - Dennis Waterman: Minder and New Tricks star dies aged 74
Extraordinary. @Keir_Starmer has just admitted Labour wouldn’t cancel the National Insurance rise they have been attacking the Government over week after week - which will allow us to deal with NHS Covid backlogs and social care. Yet again, they are just playing political games. https://twitter.com/PaulBrandITV/status/1521742756204453888
Keir Starmer can’t tell @GMB whether or not he’d reverse the national insurance rise.
“At this stage two years out from an election I don’t know what the state of the economy will be.”
He doesn’t look hugely comfortable in the studio this morning.
Giving magistrates increased sentencing powers is to be welcomed, helping to significantly reduce the backlog of cases in the Crown Court.
New powers come into force today giving magistrates the ability to issue sentences of up to 12 months for a single offence.
This will help drive down the backlog in the criminal courts and could free up c.1,700 extra days of Crown Court time annually.
On Yom HaShoah, we pause to remember the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. Thanks to the work of those across the world, particularly survivors, their memory and legacy will endure for future generations.
I wasn't planning to visit Russia but being put on their banned list won't deter me from speaking out against Russia's illegal invasion of 🇺🇦 and its barbaric war crimes.
🇬🇧 will continue to lead the way in support for Ukraine, both with military equipment and humanitarian aid.
The 1.6 million people in the UK of Indian origin - the "living bridge" as @narendramodi puts it - can play a vital role in bringing our two great countries much closer. 🇬🇧 🇮🇳 @BorisJohnson @FCDOGovUK @HCI_London
As India celebrates its 75th year of independence, I’m hugely optimistic about the depth of the friendship between our countries, and the security and prosperity it can deliver for our peoples for generations to come.
I was honoured to follow in the footsteps of millions in visiting the Gandhi Ashram in Ahmedabad today.
As the world faces renewed conflict, Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings remind us of the power of peace in changing the course of history.
Happy Birthday Your Majesty and thank you for a lifetime of service to the UK and the Commonwealth.
Happy Birthday Your Majesty!
Today as The Queen turns 96, we’re sharing this photograph of the young Princess Elizabeth aged 2.
Then, in 1928, it was never expected she would be Queen, and this year Her Majesty is celebrating her #PlatinumJubilee - a first in British history.
The UK continues to lead the global effort in its support for Ukraine.
The PM has apologised again for spending 9 minutes in his office at 2pm as work colleagues came in and wished him a happy birthday (as reported in @thetimes the day after)
Now let’s let him get on with the job 🇬🇧👊 https://twitter.com/MrHarryCole/status/1513925825841803271
PM's supporters making case he was there for around 9 mins amid 20 other meetings that day.
Say he'd been on a visit that morning, came back and ate a salad between meetings while people sung happy birthday
So far, no Tory gunning for him despite opposition brown trousers.
.@BorisJohnson has apologised.
At this most dangerous time for Europe since the Second World War, he is the right person to lead 🇬🇧, both domestically and abroad. He has led world leaders in support for 🇺🇦 and continues to do so as Russia threatens ever more aggression.
The Ukrainians have the courage of a lion.
President @ZelenskyyUa has given the roar of that lion.
The UK stands unwaveringly with the people of Ukraine.
Slava Ukraini 🇬🇧 🇺🇦
Congratulations to Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust on being a finalist in the East of England Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism Awards. @steve_corney
Lovely to recently visit Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust in Ramsey on their 10th anniversary, along with @steve_corney.
Thank you for all your work serving the local and surrounding communities.
"the whole country can be proud the way the UK welcomed people fleeing Idi Amin's Uganda ....this country is overwhelmingly generous to people fleeing in fear of their lives, and we will continue to be so."
Lovely to see such generosity from a local business.#Ukraine️
Wonderful move by #Peterborough's @yoursclothing to make £250,000 donation to the @BritishRedCross to help care for refugees from #Ukraine thro cash donation and sale of special T-shirts and shopper bags. @ShaileshVara @OP_Peterborough
All remaining Covid travel measures, including the Passenger Locator Form and tests for all arrivals, will be stood down for travel to the UK from 4am on 18 March.
These changes are possible due to our vaccine rollout and mean greater freedom in time for Easter.
Asking @michaelgove in the @HouseofCommons to ensure that Ukrainian refugees coming to the 🇬🇧 receive urgent medical help when it is required.
Following a request from @VPrystaiko last week, we are donating 500 generators to Ukraine - enough to power 20,000 buildings.
This will keep hospitals, shelters and public services running, and weaken Putin’s attempts to throttle Ukraine’s energy supply.
Great to visit 3 Centres in North West Cambs supporting Ukrainian refugees - St Olga's Church in Woodston, East of England Showground, and premises in the Brightfield Business Hub. Fantastic work by Alla Irodenko, Yuriy Zhuravel, and volunteers with support from @PeterboroughCC
Good to catch up with @steve_corney at the Wild Frost in Ramsey over an excellent lunch prepared by Maureen and Ann.
Kidneys play a vital role in our general health and well-being. Today is #WorldKidneyDay and I want to encourage everyone to check how healthy their kidneys are by taking @Kidney_Research UK's kidney health check.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man. A very powerful and moving speech by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to the House of Commons. Slava Ukraini.
@ZelenskyyUa @BorisJohnson @HouseofCommons
Today, as we mark #InternationalWomensDay, my thoughts are with all the women across the world, especially the inspirational women of Ukraine, including the 16% in the Ukrainian armed forces.
"the whole of the UK stands squarely with the people of Ukraine and your awe-inspiring struggle against this aggression.........Slava Ukraini."
Я хочу звернутися безпосередньо до українців тут, у Великій Британії, й до тих, хто знаходиться в Україні та сусідніх країнах.
Ukraine are currently top of the Beijing 2022 medal table.
That’s it. That’s the tweet. 🇺🇦
Very pleased to sign the Book of Solidarity for Ukraine, which @CommonsSpeaker, Sir Lindsay Hoyle, will send to @r_stefanchuk, Chairman of the Ukraine Parliament.
Together with my Parliamentary neighbour @JDjanogly welcoming tougher penalties for hare coursing and urging the police and Crown Prosecution Service to use the new powers to press for the strongest penalties for offenders.
@Farmer_Tom_UK @PCCCambs @CambsCops @NFUEastAnglia
.@theposh can be proud of their performance this evening against @ManCity
The candle of freedom may burn low in Ukraine in the days and perhaps months ahead, but the UK will stand by you, by Ukraine, until that candle blazes again, bright in independence and liberty.
Slava Ukraini. https://twitter.com/10DowningStreet/status/1498314021447086085
Last night the Prime Minister attended a Ukrainian Greek Catholic service in London, joining the congregation in praying for peace in Ukraine.
The PM told the congregation of the UK’s unflinching support of Ukraine and its people in their hour of need.
Pleased to see @FA taking decisive action.
Statement from The FA:
