Thank you to our Armed Forces community - Bucks Council Chairman, Leader and Armed Forces Champion today joined dignitaries including the High Sheriff and Rob Butler MP, along with Armed Forces reps, to raise the Armed Forces flag ahead of #ArmedForcesDay, this weekend.

Thanks to @RNID for running an excellent introduction to British Sign Language & deaf awareness session today in @HouseofCommons. I was proud to support the #BSLActNow campaign and hope that the increased understanding of deaf culture leads to real improvements for BSL signers

War Graves Week encourages us to discover the World War heritage on our doorstep. This afternoon I joined @CWGC at Aylesbury Cemetery to hear about some of the people who made the ultimate sacrifice. There are graves across Bucks, including Halton, where we can pay our respects

The Reuse Shop at Aston Clinton HRC does great work reducing waste by diverting useful items from landfill & selling them with proceeds going to @SBucksHospice. Good to visit, meet staff & learn about how reuse drives sustainability @FCC_Environment @BucksCouncil @Jochurchill_MP

The A413 Wendover Road will be single-lane with traffic lights between Hampden Hall roundabout and Eascote Road from 28 May to 1 June for work on the Southeast Aylesbury Link Road.
Expect delays and use an alternative route if possible during this period.

Thoroughly enjoyable evening @TheWaterside1 with artist in residence Peter Keegan. His talk about capturing life behind-the-scenes at the theatre was fascinating, and watching him paint a portrait from scratch was mesmerising. Good to see his most recent painting on the wall!
