Sunny afternoons ideal for a glass of @RibenaUK! If you had one, chances are some of the blackcurrants that made it will have been grown in my Kent constituency

Really enjoyed joining @NickOvery2 of Ian Overy Farms at Brenchley hard at work on this year’s harvest a few days ago

Watch to find out how this will improve the lives of people in the area 👇

Few interesting snippets from York & North Yorkshire devo deal - much of it is similar to deals elsewhere (on transport, skills, housing, and investment) so I've pulled out what I think are novel and interesting elements as opposed to summarising. Overall - it's good stuff. 1/

The Faith New Deal Fund will build on collaboration between faith groups and government during the pandemic to tackle issues that matter to local people. [1/2]

I am shocked by what happened here.

I have asked the Chair and Chief Executive of @PeabodyLDN to come to see me next week.

I would like them to explain their review of what lessons it has learned, and how the housing association sector can ensure it cannot happen again.

Today is #HistoricCountyFlagsDay - the perfect day to get some county inspiration by listening to Charlotte from @Visit_Lincs explain the meaning behind the historic Lincolnshire flag!

I’m proud to be Patron of @hospiceweald, which gives such wonderful care to so many in West Kent.

It good to chat with team members Nick, Jan and Tor today to talk about the Hospice’s future plans, as well as meeting patients, staff and volunteers.

Today I have extended changes to licensing rules to make al fresco dining easier for restaurants, pubs and cafes.

This is a big boost for high streets and we will make the changes permanent.

Levelling Up remains the defining mission of this government.

Today we opened bidding on the second round of the Levelling Up Fund.

Looking forward to seeing proposals that will make a positive impact on people’s lives across the whole UK.

It is pretty amazing that only two of the eight candidates to be Conservative Party leader and Prime Minister are white men.
Half are women, half are BAME.
This would have been unimaginable 20 years ago.

Pleased to have @GregClarkMP Secretary of State for @luhc join the memorial and highlight his and the Government's commitment to supporting our important work. "Hatred can take place anywhere and anytime unless we have the courage and conviction to challenge its advances."

On #SrebrenicaMemorialDay we remember the lives of over 8,000 men and boys murdered in Srebrenica. We must never forget their deaths and in their honour challenge hatred and bigotry wherever we find it. @SrebrenicaUK
