Caught in torrential rain in Westminster and still soaking after 90 minutes in the car but made it home to vote YES for the #Ewhurst Neighbourhood Plan. A huge thank you to everyone involved in producing. An important document that will have weight in planning decision-making.

Cass Review will be able to speak to those treated by GIDS. Statement out from @sajidjavid. Will allow best available clinical evidence to inform treatment of U18s with gender dysphoria. Not just nationally significant but globally as follow up has been so poor. Links below 1/

This is welcome news today thanks to the Health Secretary @sajidjavid. @thecassreview

I am proud of the @Conservatives record on tackling violence against women and girls. Still more to do - education, support, challenging unacceptable behaviours and the normalisation of violence. But working together, we can get there. @_Lisa_Townsend @redditchrachel #StopVAWG

Privilege to visit @D_Challengers in Stoke Park on Friday and meet staff and children, as well as some of the parents. They showed me the site of a new, inclusive and multi-functional playground for the children but funds are needed. Visit for more info.

RIP Dame Deborah. Her exceptional campaign to help those living with cancer won the whole nation’s admiration, and started important conversations about living with the ‘big C’.

She leaves behind an incredible legacy, and my thoughts are with her loved ones.

I have today written to Stagecoach urging them to work effectively with Surrey County Council to resolve the present difficulties and restore a reliable bus service for constituents as soon as possible. #BusService #Guildford #Cranleigh

If on last week's dismal performance I'd given up, I wouldn't have had the joy of being able to run a little bit more today. Slowly but surely #5k #raceforlife #cancerresearchuk #royalsurrey #Guildford

A huge thank you to Karin Walker @KarinKGW a very experienced local family lawyer and author who gave the @Guildford_Cons Business Breakfast at @thecountyclub this morning, a fascinating lecture on narcissists and their impact on everyone around them. #Guildford

It's always hard to find inclusive activities for children who have additional needs, but here at Synergy Dance® Outreach, inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do. All of our classes, clubs, workshops and parties are inclusive and run by fully qualified SEND instructors.

Success and enjoyment at university starts with good mental health, which is why I made it a priority to get students the best possible mental support. But for years the gaps between university and NHS services have been too wide. Today, @GillianKeegan and I are changing that.

We are a friendly, hard working, hearty team looking for a manager to step up and take us through our second year as a club. If this sounds like your cup of team please get in touch. 👇🏼😊 @surreyfa @guildfordcity @IntSurreyWomen

Today, we have announced that all 1.25 million children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will get more funding for their free school meals. We're investing circa £18 million more for schools who can backdate costs to April, in recognition of rising prices.

Wonderful to speak to a great turnout of @LondonCWO ladies at the Carlton Club last night about my journey into politics and the best bits of the job. Thanks to @helenedwardcwo @Neetivgupta and @cwowomen Chair @pamelathall for bringing us together. #AskHerToStand
