Tory austerity destroyed public services, investment and growth.

Fixing their mess means tough decisions.

But we won’t let that dim our ambition for Britain.

We are rebuilding Britain to grow our economy by creating highly skilled jobs in every part of the country.

Our Armed Forces are widely - and rightly - respected across the world. And this Government wants the best talent recruited into them.

We’ll tackle the bottlenecks, needless red tape and ensure our recruitment is fit for the 21st Century.

If we fix the foundations of our economy, the prize is immense.

More money in people’s pockets, an NHS that is fit for the future and a Britain that is rebuilt.

My ambition for Britain knows no limits because I can see the prize on offer if we make the right choices now.

This Labour Government will rebuild Britain and deliver on the promise of change.

When we said two Labour governments would work in partnership, that is what we meant.
