The Messenger Review into leadership across health and social care found that in addition to workforce pressures and a lack of development support, there continues to exist discrimination, bullying and blame cultures, with NHS staff remaining uncomfortable speaking up.
Our National Security must be maintained against all threats whether from hostile states, cyber attack, espionage, fraud or intellectual property theft. It is right that our legislation should also consider how we protect whistleblowers who act in the Public Interest.

The Health & Care Bill has received Royal Assent - putting health and care services in the strongest position to tackle the Covid backlog and rebuild following the pandemic.
These measures have broad support and are an important milestone in our plans to recover and reform.
On Yom HaShoah, we pause to remember the 6 million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. Thanks to the work of those across the world, particularly survivors, their memory and legacy will endure for future generations.
