I’m grateful to 🇬🇧 Prime Minister @BorisJohnson for allocating an additional £1 billion for security assistance to Ukraine. 🇬🇧 is our true friend and strategic partner. We appreciate the consistent, leadership support for 🇺🇦 in countering Russian aggression.

The NHS has reduced 2-year waits by 2/3s since January thanks to our plan to bust the Covid backlogs. 📉

As part of this I announced a new 'right to choose'. The longest waiters must be offered an alternative provider where they can be seen more quickly.

Some photos from Seaford Armed forces day . Well done to all the organisers; @SeafordTC and Royal Society of St George and all those that took part

Oil prices are starting to fall . Why are petrol companies not passing this onto customers? Most petrol stations in my constituency didn’t pass on the 5p cut in fuel duty from the Government either

Pleased to see the Minister for Patient Safety and Primary Care @mariacaulfield say that the Government is looking at how pharmacies will play a key role in the future of primary care during today's debate.

We hope to work with her and the pharmacy community to make it happen.

Minister Caulfield delivers a proper roast against Labour’s Stephen Morgan.

But for clarification: Morgan was a guest of Mordaunt’s and joined the summit virtually as the other city MP at the invitation of @PennyMordaunt who, together with partners have a plan to improve 🦷

👋 Thank you @mariacaulfield and @NickFletcherMP for your support! #MoreInCommon

The rail unions need to talk, not strike. But we will continue to prepare. I'm asking the @MayorofLondon to do his bit to keep London open and moving by waiving the Congestion Charge & ULEZ and pausing non-essential roadworks on rail strike days - simple moves that will go far.

GAS DEAL🇬🇧🇳🇴

Britain’s Centrica has signed a major deal with Norway’s Equinor, boosting UK supply for the next 3 winters.

With ongoing uncertainty in Europe, securing extra supply is welcome as we maximise gas production in British waters and accelerate nuclear and renewables.

It was great to meet with Anna Franklin and her team from University of Sussex to hear about the work they are doing in colour blindness

Vulnerable patients will miss appointments.

Doctors and nurses won’t be able to get to work.

It’s time @wesstreeting put patients first, stands up for the NHS and condemns the unjustified rail strikes.

Fuel prices⛽️

I’ve asked the @CMAgovUK to conduct an urgent review of the retail fuel market, as well as a longer-term investigation under the Enterprise Act.

Fuel prices are always quick to go up but slow to come down - let’s see why.

Very saddened to learn of the death of Ann Norman, former Mayor of Brighton & Hove as well as a dedicated hardworking and much respected local councillor.Alzheimer’s is such a cruel condition. My heart goes out to ⁦@kennorman⁩ and the rest of the family. She’ll be so missed
