Inspiring to have @ZelenskyyUa at the #NATOSummit today. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine’s fight for freedom and self-determination. Now is the time to double down and ensure Ukraine defeats Russia so President Zelenskyy can negotiate from a position of strength.

United, #WeAreNATO.

Large shopping mall in Kremenchuk with hundreds of civilians inside has been hit by a Russian strike. Russia is a disgrace to humanity and it must face consequences. The response should be more heavy arms for Ukraine, more sanctions on Russia, and more businesses leaving Russia.

Bombing a shopping mall in the middle of the day, when it would be at its busiest. It’s a murderous 🇷🇺 act that targets 🇺🇦 civilians. It adds to the rapidly lengthening justice tally sheet.

Our comprehensive, practical and durable solution will fix the current problems with the Protocol so that Northern Ireland can move forward - while protecting UK and EU markets.

The Government is bringing forward legislation to fix the Northern Ireland Protocol and protect the Belfast (Good Friday) Agreement.

As part of this we are engaging with businesses to discuss our solution. 👇

We must end Putin's stranglehold on grain which drives up global food prices, deprives Ukraine of revenue and puts millions at risk of starvation.

We will work with partners to end Russia's grain blockade and with Ukraine to repair vital railways.

NI Protocol Bill returns for 2nd reading today.

It will fix problems the Protocol has created in Northern Ireland & uphold the Belfast (Good Friday) Agreement. Our preference remains a negotiated outcome, but EU continues to rule out change to Protocol👇

As the @G7 gathers in Germany, Prime Minister @BorisJohnson and I want to be very clear about our support for Ukrainians and for President @ZelenskyyUa: It is unwavering. We stand with you, and we are staying the course.

Putin is using hunger as a weapon of war and we cannot allow his blockade of Ukrainian grain to continue.

Today the UK is pledging up to £10m in aid to help Ukraine repair its rail infrastructure so Ukrainians can resume their crucial exports. 🇬🇧🇺🇦

NEW: The @G7 has launched the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment to mobilise $600bn of honest, reliable finance into low and middle income countries by 2028.

Acting as an economic NATO, the G7 will offer an alternative to investment from autocratic regimes.

We must support Ukraine to strengthen their hand in both the war and any future negotiations.

President @EmmanuelMacron and I agreed to step up our military support for Ukraine at this critical moment, and to enhance Anglo-French cooperation on defence and security.

The UK stands ready to guarantee a further £429 million of financial support for Ukraine.

This brings the total amount of UK loan guarantees to £1.3 billion – part of £1.5 billion of UK humanitarian support to Ukraine this year.

Today 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇨🇦🇯🇵 have led @G7 allies with sanctions to ban the import of Russian gold - cutting off funding for Putin’s war machine and further isolating Russia from the international financial system.

Now is not the time to give up on Ukraine, they need the support and resolve of the @G7 more than ever.

The UK will continue to back Ukraine every step of the way, because we know that their security is our security, and their freedom is our freedom.

We've supported London transport with nearly £5bn of funding. To reach a long-term settlement that is fair to taxpayers, we must have all required info from TfL & the Mayor, which we have repeatedly asked for. TfL has asked for an extension to do this, which we have today granted

On #ArmedForcesDay, people across the UK are joining together to recognise all those who are serving and have served our nation.

Whether at home or overseas we say thank you for your courage, service, and sacrifice.

As the PM says, he understands his disappointment in the by-election losses.

They don’t tell you much about how GE’s pan out. We lost 15 by-elections between 1979 & 1992 but went on to win in 1983, 1987 & 1992.
