The rescheduling of psilocybin is a cross party issue that requires urgent attention from HMG. Thank you @charlotte2153 for your work in helping to bring #PsilocybinAccessRights to the UK - and giving our friends @HeroicHeartsUK a shout out in Parliament! https://twitter.com/charlotte2153/status/1541451730893914114
Today in Qs on the Draft Mental Health Bill, I pushed the Secretary of State to liaise with the Home Office to see psilocybin rescheduled- which would allow further research & options for treatment for conditions including depression, PTSD and anorexia #PsilocybinAccessRights
The majority of the British public support #psilicybin access rights, reflected by this pressing question from @charlotte2153, the latest MP to raise #psilocybinaccessrights in Parliament. Find out more about the campaign to #reschedulepsilocybin:

The APPG for #CBD products today heard about the consumer, economic and jobs opportunities being created by the CBD industry in 🇺🇲. Many stand to benefit here in 🇬🇧 but to reap that benefit we must develop evidence based regulations, urgently @ukhomeoffice
Thousands of young people experience bullying everyday across the UK, including #LGBT+ students. No-one should have to face it, but at the very least we can make sure they don't face it alone. Am pleased to support http://DontFaceItAlone.com #SpeakOutAboutBullying @DianaAward
Pleased to hear that @ukhomeoffice policy on #Ukrainian unaccompanied minors being reconsidered. For too long, Ukrainians have been left in limbo, unable to travel to the UK despite being accompanied by aunts, uncles and grandparents. Let's help the most vulnerable get to safety.
The below information is for my #Reigate constituents from @GTRailUK on affected services throughout this week as a result of #RMTstrike
As we commemorate 40th anniversary of the #FalklandsWar, more servicemen have died since through PTSD and depression than died in the war. Why are we not accelerating access to treatment for veterans as this grim statistic is repeated for all following wars?
Congratulations to @SalfordsSchool who have been nominated for their outstanding progress in the Education Business Awards. Winners will be revealed on the 15 of June. I wish them the best of luck.
Please see below for my comment on my BBC South East interview broadcast Sunday 22nd May
Today marks 25 years since I was elected MP for Reigate. Below is my statement reflecting the start of the journey, thanking those who have shared it with me, the public confirmation this is my last Parliament and a look forward to rest of this term.

Many congratulations to @SalfordsSchool on it's recent OFSTED report! The turnaround under the joint leadership of Claire Regnard and Carrie Christer is palpable.
I much enjoyed my recent visit and the hugely positive buzz that accompanied it.
Inspiring visit to @SalfordsSchool today. Delighted to have the opportunity to meet the Co-Headteachers and enthusiastic School Council - a school which staff and pupils should be proud to be part of!
Forthcoming Road Closures in Merstham: https://www.blunt4reigate.com/news/m25-junction-7-m23-junction-8-merstham-interchange-weekend-closures
On reflection I have decided to retract my statement defending Imran Ahmad Khan. I am sorry that my defence of him has been a cause of significant upset and concern not least to victims of sexual offences.
My statement as Chair of the APPG on Global #LGBT+ Rights in response to the PM's remarks around trans people, today's statement, and the cancellation of the Safe to be Me Conference. #BanCT #NotSafeToBeMe

“Why would anyone oppose rescheduling #psilocybin? There is no credible #public #policy argument to leaving these things in schedule one.” @CrispinBlunt and @TimmyJSDavis speak to @psychglobal_ ahead of their 11 May 22 symposium https://psych.global/psilocybin-in-the-uk/
Wars have casualties, and the culture war around gender issues is no different. Like its effect on this wonderful mother. Thank you for speaking out so eloquently.
God help me, but I’ve made a Twitter because I can’t deal with “TERFs” and their ilk for another minute. My daughter has happily lived her life as trans for years. At first I felt so relieved seeing her finally at peace. In the last year, I do not recognise the same person.
“Let’s hope that real government strategies, underpinned by science, and reinforced by industry knowledge – where we are already strong – can come to the rescue.” @TimmyJSDavis and I discuss #psilocybin with @psychglobal_ ahead of their 11 May symposium. Join us in London 👇

Today began with a meeting with the @OzanneFoundn and the authors of their new report on Conversion Therapy in Hungary. The APPG is in awe of these amazing activists who produced their groundbreaking research under extraordinary pressure! Read it here: https://bit.ly/353zaCG
Congratulations to Utah’s governor for putting this issue into its proper perspective. In UK Sports governing bodies can already reasonably exclude trans athletes competing unfairly, but finding examples will be a challenge, just be assured you will hear about it!
Utah's Republican Governor Spencer Cox, as he vetoes a ban on trans athletes passed by the state legislature, notes 75,000 high school athletes and only four are transgender. "Rarely has so much fear and anger been directed at so few."
.@SurreyCouncil have published their decision regarding my complaint about the Surrey Police and Crime Commissioner. I am glad the panel agree with me about the need to take the heat out of this fraught debate. 1/4
Execution of 81 in #KSA represents a new low for human rights. Emptying Saudi death row in this way is an affront to all who have worked to build a positive relationship with the Kingdom, and is a step backwards for criminal justice.

• Urgent question from @CrispinBlunt: "To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs if she will make a statement on the mass execution of 81 people in Saudi Arabia on Saturday morning."

.@ZelenskyyUa's tv address to the Russian (!) people might be the most moving speech that I've ever seen in my entire life. The whole world needs to see, understand and share this crucial Ukrainian message.
#StandWithUkraine #Ukraine #Україна #Russia #Россия
For people who are looking to support the people of #Ukraine the @decappeal, an umbrella of UK Charities, has launched the appeal below. Each £ matched by UK Gov, with an initial HMG donation of £20m

US & UK signatures on 1994 #BudapestMemorandum gave #Ukraine the confidence to give up their inherited nuclear weapons. Our duty is clear: do ALL we can to support Ukraine against this appalling assault on a neighbour, democracy and the rule of law.
The seriousness of what is at stake in Ukraine can’t be overstated. On Monday @BorisJohnson made clear U.K. stands alongside Ukraine, and they would not lose. That statement must be followed through and we must give Ukraine any help they need in the air and in cyber space.
16/16 To fight for Russia, to save it, means to fight for the removal of Putin and his kleptocrats from power. But now it also means the banal “to fight for peace”.
15/16 The Kremlin is making you poorer, not Washington. It is not in London that economic policy is being conducted in such a way that a pensioner's "borscht set" has doubled in price, but in Moscow.
14/16 Putin and his senile thieves from the Security Council and United Russia are the enemies of Russia and its main threat, not Ukraine and not the West. Putin kills and wants to kill more.
13/16 We have everything for powerful development in the 21st century, from oil to educated citizens, but we will lose money again and squander the historical chance for a normal rich life for the sake of war, dirt, lies and the palace with golden eagles in Gelendzhik.
12/16 Thanks to Putin, hundreds of Ukrainians and Russian citizens may die now, and in the future, this number may reach tens of thousands. Yes, he will not allow Ukraine to develop, he will drag it into the swamp, but Russia will pay the same price.
11/16 All this ended very badly for everyone in 1979. And it will end just as badly now. Afghanistan was destroyed, but the USSR also received a mortal wound.
10/16 Replace "Ukraine" in his speech with "Kazakhstan", "Belarus", "Baltic countries", "Azerbaijan", "Uzbekistan" and so on, even including "Finland". And think about where the train of geopolitical thought of this senile grandfather may take him next.
9/16 It would be funny if the drunk grandfather was not a man of 69 who holds power in a country with nuclear weapons.
8/16 And so, the head of the 21st century Politburo makes a truly insane speech. Twitter gave the most accurate metaphor for it: “It's just like my grandfather getting drunk at a family celebration and annoying everyone with his stories about how world politics actually works.”
7/16 Bare propaganda is no longer enough for the senile thieves. They want blood. They want to move around tank figurines on a map of hostilities.
6/16 How long has it been since you last watched the news on federal channels? It's the only thing I watch now, and I can assure you, there is NO news about Russia there AT ALL. Literally. From the first to the last piece, it's Ukraine - USA - Europe.
5/16 Both of them need one thing: to divert the attention of the people of Russia from real problems - the development of the economy, rising prices, reigning lawlessness - and switching it to the format of "imperial hysteria."
4/16 Those morons from the Politburo covered themselves with a two-faced ideology. These Putin's dotards do not even have an ideology - only constant and undisguised lies. They don't even bother to give their casus belli the slightest credibility.
3/16 The result was hundreds of thousands of victims, injuries to entire nations, the consequences of which both we and Afghanistan still cannot overcome, and the emergence of one of the key reasons for the collapse of the USSR.
2/16 And I thought about the same gathering of nomenklatura dotards from the Politburo of the Central Committee of the CPSU, who, quite similarly, on their own whim , imagining themselves as geopoliticians at the “grand chessboard”, decided to send Soviet troops into Afghanistan.
1/16 Yesterday I watched the “session of the Security Council”, this gathering of dotards and thieves (it seems to me that our Anti-Corruption Foundation has done investigations into the corruption of every single one of them).
Tory MP @CrispinBlunt: 'By any standards, our drug policy - in terms of its outcomes - is a disaster.'
